IT IS the first day this week with no new reported deaths from coronavirus in hospitals in the Bradford district.
NHS England announced in today's update (Saturday, February 20) that there was no further deaths reported from the Covid-19 virus at hospitals in the district.
It comes after there were two new deaths reported yesterday at hospitals in the Bradford district.
The total death toll at hospitals in the Bradford district still stands at 809 - 559 at BRI, 248 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
NHS England announced 53 patients at hospitals in the North East and Yorkshire who tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) have died.
Of those, 38 were reported at hospitals in Yorkshire and the Humber.
There were 18 in West Yorkshire - 12 at Leeds General Infirmary (LGI), four at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, and two at the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs Pontefract Hospital, Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield, Dewsbury and District Hospital and community health services in Wakefield, and one at Airedale.
Six were in North Yorkshire and the City of York - five at the York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and one at the Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust.
Three were in the East Riding of Yorkshire - all three at the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
The final 11 were in South Yorkshire - four at each of Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, two at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and one at the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
There were an extra 307 deaths reported today across England, taking the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in the country to 81,046.
Patients in today's update were aged between 16 and 100-years-old.
All except four (aged 16 to 68-years-old) had known underlying health conditions.
The dates of the deaths ranges from Tuesday, January 12 and Friday, February 19.
Their families have been informed.
