TWO people were rushed to hospital in the early hours of this morning after a car was crushed against a wall.
West Yorkshire Police was called to reports of a crash on Canal Road at 12.10am today.
A black Audi RS3 had collided with a wall just after the road's junction with Sidings Close and near the Skoda garage.
It had been travelling in the direction Shipley, from Bradford.
The car was completely smashed with debris littered everywhere.
Looking at the scene later this morning, the car's roof had been detached.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said the driver and passenger of the Audi were seriously injured in the crash.
They were rushed to Leeds General Infirmary (LGI), but the injuries are not considered to be life-threatening at this time.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash and have issued an appeal for information.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, may have dash cam footage which will assist the investigation, or who saw the movements of the car immediately prior to the crash should ring 101, or use the reporting options on the West Yorkshire Police website.
