There are warnings of disruption throughout the night as Yorkshire Water teams work to prevent further flooding from a burst sewer
The water company has warned residents that tankers would be driving through Esholt village as part of attempts to prevent flooding.
A tweet from the account of Yorkshire Water Help said: "BD17. Dockfield Road. Due to a burst on a sewer we will have tankers driving through Esholt village throughout the night to stop any further flooding.
"We apologise for any inconvenience and additional noise this will cause. We aim to repair the sewer as asap."
The Environment Agency added: "Yorkshire Water have informed us of this incident. We are working with them on the response and our officers will be invetigating impacts at first light."
