A FURTHER two Covid-19-related hospital deaths have been reported in the Bradford district today, according to the latest NHS England figures.
Airedale NHS Foundation Trust reported one death, on February 18, while Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust reported one death, on February 17.
It means that the total number of hospital deaths in the district, according to NHS England figures, now stands at 809 - 559 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 248 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
In West Yorkshire, Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust reported four deaths, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust reported three deaths and Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust reported seven deaths.
Nationally, a further 315 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 80,739.
Patients were aged between 13 and 103 years old. All except 26 (aged 13 to 96 years old) had known underlying health conditions.
Date of death ranges from April 18, 2020 to February 18, 2021.
Their families have been informed.
The figures are updated at 2pm each day and include confirmed death cases reported at 4pm the previous day.
NHS England says: "Confirmation of Covid-19 diagnosis, death notification, death certificates and reporting in central figures can take up to several days and the hospitals providing the data are under significant operational pressure.
"This means that the totals reported at 4pm on each day may not include all deaths that occurred on that day or on recent prior days."
