THERE’S nothing like a Regency romance to get pulses racing, and Bridgerton has certainly ticked that box in lockdown.
Viewed by a record 82 million households in 28 days, it’s the biggest ever Netflix original series, and now it has been announced that there’s to be a second season of the steamy period drama, with filming set to begin this spring.
I haven’t seen any of it. Am I missing out? “Oh the Duke,” sighed a friend, who watched the entire series in one weekend.
“It's my guilty pleasure,” said another, who also binge-watched it.
It all looks a bit Mills & Boon to me but, hey, whatever gets you through lockdown - as 82 million households would probably agree.
