RESIDENTS have until March 5 to voice their views on an application to instal CCTV cameras to improve security at a historic church.
Saltaire United Reformed Church in Victoria Road, Saltaire, has applied to instal a system made up of seven cameras with built-in infra-red illumination. These would be mounted outside at a height of three metres.
One camera will also be erected in the entrance lobby.
Cameras will cover external elevations of the Grade l-listed building in the World Heritage Site, including the main entrance doors, driveway, war memorial and car park. Live and recorded camera images will be viewable on a dedicated monitor.
The Bradford Council application number is 21/00176/FUL and can be viewed on the Council website bradford.gov.uk
