Two men were today appearing at Bradford Magistrates Court charged with murdering a 39-year-old man whose body was found in a city street.
Inspector Nick Dyson, at West Yorkshire Police headquarters, said the men charged were local, aged 23 and 25.
He said a woman being questioned about the man's death had been bailed pending further inquiries.
Insp Dyson said no further details would be released before the court hearing.
The victim was found dead in Holme Top Lane, Little Horton, Bradford, shortly before 11pm last Thursday. People in the area said they believed he had been stabbed.
His name has not been released by the police.
The incident is being investigated by the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team of West Yorkshire Police.
A forensic post mortem examination has taken place.
Yesterday residents in Holme Top Lane, a quiet terrace near St Luke's Hospital, were reluctant to talk about the incident.
