Volunteers who look after Harold Park in Low Moor, Bradford, have received a grant to help them in their regeneration work.
Northern Green Networks, the environmental support scheme operated by gas distribution company Northern Gas Networks, has given £2,180 to the Friends of Harold Park.
The group was one of 15, five from the Bradford area, to share the £50,000 which Northern Gas Network distributed to organisations planning and providing green schemes.
Group chairman Angela Tait said the park was a community asset and the funding had helped them to build a floating island for the lake, which would help visitors identify the wildlife in the park.
