Sheltered housing apartments for the elderly are set to be built in Idle.
Planners in Shipley gave the thumbs-up for 56 apartments, including eight affordable flats and an apartment for a house manager, and communal facilities, at Rockwood, Highfield Road.
Shipley Area Planning Panel supported Bradford Council officers' recommendation for approval but the blueprints will be returned to the planning department for a puffin crossing to be included at Highfield Road, Idle, and for 106 and 278 agreements to be agreed.
