BRADFORD is set to get a further blast of wintry weather with light snow showers next week.
The Met Office is reporting that Bradford will get four successive days of light snow showers from this Saturday. This will start at 9pm on Saturday and will initially carry on until 3am on Monday.
The light snow showers will continue almost continuously all day on Monday and Tuesday.
Before then, a yellow weather warning for rain is in place for large parts of Northern England, including Bradford, and Scotland betywen now and noon tomorrow.
Heavy rain, with some snow melt at first, probably leading to some flooding and travel disruption.
People can expect spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer. Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer and flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible Cloudy and dry conditions will replace the rain on Saturday, before the snow is set to arrive.
