PLANS to build a restaurant on the site of a recently demolished pub have been submitted to Bradford Council.
The former site of the Bradford Arms on Bowling Back Lane is the subject of a new planning application by Ikraam Hussain.
It calls for a 72 square metre shipping container to be installed on the site, and for this container to operate as a drive thru restaurant. There would also be parking for three cars in front of the restaurant.
The application says the new business would create three full time jobs.

Bradford Council is expected to make a decision on the application early next month.
The Bradford Arms had been derelict after arsonists damaged it in January 2017, forcing the landlord and his family to flee for their lives.
In October 2019 there was a further fire in the building, which is just yards from a row of terraced houses.
It led to local Councillors calling for the badly damaged building to be demolished, as it had also become a magnet for anti social behaviour and fly tipping.
