Council says bin collections will be held day later than usual due to snow
ALL bin collection in the Bradford district will take place a day late due to the snow, the council has announced.
Today’s heavy snow across Bradford has led to the collections stopping.
But the local authority says today’s collections will now take place tomorrow, with collections continuing a day late.
Bin collections will also be carried out this Saturday to make up for the backlog.
The council tweeted:
Weather permitting we plan to catch up on Tuesday’s bin collections tomorrow and continue through the week a day late. This will include collecting on Saturday. Please put your bin out on the normal day in case we catch up more quickly than we expect. Sorry for any inconvenience.
