Police have arrested a van driver in connection with the road death of a seven-year-old boy.
A 31-year-old was being quizzed today on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and police are appealing for more witnesses to come forward.
The incident happened in Girlington Road, Girlington, Bradford, at 4pm yesterday at the junction with Duckworth Lane.
A police spokesman said the white Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van had been travelling south towards Thornton Road when the accident occurred with the boy who had been walking towards Duckworth Lane.
The boy, who has not yet been named, was found to have died at the scene.
