THE Jacob's Well vaccination centre in Bradford is open today despite the snowy weather. 

The site, located in the Jacob's Well car park in the city centre, opened its doors yesterday. 

People who have booked an appointment are being advised to only travel if they feel safe to do so and reschedule their vaccine through the national booking system. 

A spokesperson for Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust said: “Jacob’s Well NHS COVID-19 Vaccination Centre is open today and delivering vaccines to those who have a booked appointment.

"However, we are advising those people who have booked a vaccination today to only travel if they feel safe and confident in doing so. If there is any doubt, they should reschedule their appointment through the national booking service for another time.

"We would like to reassure people that if they are unable to attend today because of the weather conditions, they will be able to reschedule their appointment by contacting the national booking service.

"When you attend your appointment, please remember to bring your booking confirmation with you.”
