A teenager suffered cuts and bruises when he was hit during a street robbery.
The 19-year-old man was sitting on a wall with a friend, near Great Horton Road, Bradford, after a night out at 2.55am today when they were grabbed from behind by three Afro-Caribbean men and pulled over the wall into the University of Bradford's Peace Gardens.
The robbers demanded the teenager's property and when he hesitated he was punched in the head and his wallet and mobile phone were stolen. He suffered a cut lip and bump on the head.
The suspects fled on foot. One was aged 19 or 20, and was wearing a hooded top with a scarf over his mouth.
