A man has been arrested after a pensioner was struck by a car that failed to stop.
Police said the 26-year-old man, from Dewsbury, would be questioned today.
The 86-year-old man remains in a critical but stable condition following the accident in Roberttown, Liversedge, at 5.45pm yesterday.
