A MAN suffered smoke inhalation after fire crews put out a chip pan fire at house in Shipley on Sunday.
Two pumps from Bradford Fire Station and one from Fairweather Green Fire Station were called to the fire at 1.35pm on Hall Lane.
Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and and a high powered fan to clear smoke from the property after putting out the fire to the chip pan, which the fire service reported was fully involved in fire.
The male occupant suffered smoke inhalation and was given oxygen therapy by fire service personnel but he did not attend hospital.
A smoke detection was fitted in the property and it did go off.
