AN uninsured driver had their new car seized despite telling police he was on his way to buy car insurance when stopped.
A black Range Rover was stopped showing no insurance by officers from West Yorkshire Police’s Roads Policing Unit on Rooley Lane, Bradford, today.
The driver told officers he was on his way to buy a phone top-up, to buy insurance online.
Officers seized the car and the driver will now appear in court.
