It's fair to say that Kyle Nix is possibly the chirpiest character in the dressing room.

If there is something going on or somebody's stuff has been moved about, you can guarantee that Nixy will always be the number one suspect.

You can always hear him about the place. He is definitely a very confident lad and confident in his own ability.

He's also got a great left foot, which was there for all to see when he scored that goal at Chesterfield.

They were such difficult conditions with the rain and it needed something a bit special like that. The game looked to be drifting away from us and then up popped Nixy with his spectacular equaliser.

Those type of moments can be turning points in a season and let's hope we can build on that over the busy Christmas schedule.

We've kept our unbeaten run going, although we need to start turning draws into wins if we want to get back up the table. Rotherham have had a good record recently but we might be catching them at the right time after their bad result last week against Rochdale.

We've got a run of difficult games against teams at the top but if you look at us, not just this season but for the last few, then it doesn't really matter where the other teams are in the table.

This year we've comfortably beaten Peterborough and then been comfortably beaten by Accrington Stanley - but hopefully we can start to push on again and pick up the three points.

From my own point of view, I'm just glad to be back involved with the squad again. At least I won't have to bore people with my medical ailments any more!

I've had a good couple of weeks of training now so I'm hoping I'll be back in the squad for the busy period of games we've got coming up.

Even if you're not in the team, it's nice to be around the dressing room before kick-off and being part of that buzz.

It's definitely not the same when you have to go Christmas shopping on a Saturday afternoon and are listening to the game on the radio.
