ONE driver was injured and the other fled the scene of a serious two-car crash on Halifax Road in Bradford last night.
Emergency services including and the fire service and ambulance were called at 6:58pm on Friday to reports of a collision involving two vehicles, an Audi and a VW Tiguan, which occured near a Tesco on Halifax Road.
West Yorkshire Police reported that the driver of the Audi was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury and the other driver fled the scene.
The road was shut for a few hours last night, but was fully reopened at 8.46pm.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, has any further information or dashcam footage is asked to contact the police via 101 quoting log number 1438 of 15 January.
