The West Yorkshire Archive Service is supporting and co-ordinating projects to record and preserve the gay history of the region.
A spokesman from the service said: "We are looking for people to share their own history with the project.
"Whether you're young, old or somewhere in the middle, newly-out or a veteran of the scene, new to West Yorkshire or born-and-bred, we would love to hear your stories."
