BRADFORD is set to get snow today as the district’s cold snap continues.
Today’s top temperatures of just 1C in Bradford will lead to light snow showers between 9am and 11am, according to the Met Office.
This forms part of a yellow weather warning for snow and ice, in place until midnight tonight, for large parts of the UK, including Bradford.
The warning says icy stretches are likely to form perhaps leading to some disruption to travel with snow falling for some places.
We can expect some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.

Temperatures are expected to plunge to -4 by 4am tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the weekend in Bradford will bring a calmer picture.
Saturday will be a dry and mostly sunny day with temperatures only to reach a high of 2C by 2pm.
Sunday will be slightly milder with a cloudy and dry day seeing temperatures rise to 5C.
There are no yellow weather warnings for Bradford over the weekend.
