A TEENAGER will appear in court today after being charged in connection with a serious assault in Kirklees.
A 16-year-old male from Huddersfield was arrested after an incident on 30 December, when an 18-year-old man was stabbed in the arm on Bank Top, Slaithwaite.
The 16-year-old has now been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent.
He will appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court today.
