Banana skins are not just a fantastic addition to you compost bin, they are a great fertiliser if you bury them just under the soil on top of the roots of your rose bushes. They are great for cleaning the leaves of your houseplants too. Just rub the soft inside of the skin on the leaves and it will add shine as it removes dust.
