A woman left home after being hit by her husband and crashed into a parked car, a court heard.
District Judge David Thomas was told Sarah Russell's husband later admitted the assault and was cautioned by police.
Russell, of Station Road, Ilkley, admitted at Bingley Court, to drink driving and was fined £400 and banned from driving for 16 months. Judge Thomas offered her chance to take the drink driving rehabilitation course.
The community psychiatric nurse's solicitor, Nigel Jamieson, said she had been out drinking in Ilkley and suspected someone had spiked her drink with a drugs.
She arrived home in the early hours and her husband, who was concerned, asaulted her.
"She left home and drove, believing she was going to her mother's address," he said. "Within half a mile she collided with a parked car.
"She accepts that drink must have played some part in her decision to drive."
