BRADFORD West MP Naz Shah says more should be done to combat abuse on social media.
She has revealed her own experiences of abusive remarks on Twitter, adding it is a widespread problem.
Ms Shah says young people need to be continuously trained up on the dangers posed to them on social media.

Speak on her show on British Muslim TV, she said: “Abuse is absolutely widespread and the danger is when we talk about abuse in the context of far-right memes and that kind of narrative, is that we drown out the victims and we don’t do justice to those victims.
“Some of these people spread lots of hate and fear.
“They have moved on to different platforms which allow this kind of abuse.
“We need to think about this as a continuous investment. Continuously training up our young people to be able to handle themselves on the internet.”
