A scheme which provides housing for vulnerable young people is having an open day this week.
Purbeck Court in Holme Wood, Bradford, which hopes to be full by Christmas, will welcome councillors, people who have donated money and anyone who has supported the project, on Friday.
Impact Community Developments started the scheme to help vulnerable young people in September, 2006.
And working in partnership with St Christopher's Church in Holme Wood, they have transformed the formerly run-down block into 18 modern, fully-furnished flats which will provide accommodation for 30 young adults, aged between 16 and 25 who are homeless or soon to be homeless.
Some of the homeless people also helped to add the finishing touches to block of flats.
The one or two-bedroom flats have central heating, CCTV and 24-hour safety support workers.
Impact run scores of flats in the Bradford district, which enable it to house and support more than 65 young people, although its waiting list continues to grow.
