POLICE have arrested four more people as part of a murder investigation, while also naming the victim.
West Yorkshire Police was called to Ripon Avenue, in the Fartown area of Huddersfield on Saturday night, at around 9.09pm, to reports of a man being injured in a shooting.
Jamal Nedd, 26, from Fartown, was taken to hospital, but died a short time later.
Detectives investigating his death have now arrested seven people in total as part of the enquiry.
Today, three men (aged 39, 31 and 27) have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police have also arrested a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of assisting an offender.
All four remain in police custody at this time.
A 36-year-old man was the first person arrested as part of the murder investigation, on Saturday.
He has since been released without charge.
Two other men were also arrested yesterday and they remain in police custody.
