THE Lord Mayor of Bradford will attend the annual City Carol Service this year on Monday at Bradford Cathedral.
The festive service will be live streamed from the Cathedral at 6pm and will have a limited pre-booked congregation, in line with Covid-19 guidance on communal worship. The Lord-Lieutenant (Mr Ed Anderson) will also be in attendance and The Bishop of Bradford, Right Revd Toby Howarth, will give the blessing.
You are all invited to tune in to Bradford Cathedral’s YouTube channel and watch the carol service live by following the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8htqHqI-LQ&feature=youtu.be.
The Service will feature the Cathedral choir.
The Lord Mayor of Bradford Cllr Doreen Lee, said: "This year we have been unable to celebrate so many festivals and special events, but I am pleased that, via YouTube, people across the district and beyond will also be able to take part in and enjoy our wonderful City Carol Service.
"It has always been a highlight in our calendar and I'm sure it will continue to be so. I look forward to this special evening and I hope people will also watch and sing-along at home."
