The Guides hut in Guiseley has gone up in smoke.
The 20-metre by six-metre wooden hut in Guiseley, opposite Aireborough Leisure Centre, was deliberately set alight at about 5.30am today.
Equipment, including tents, were destroyed and the repair bill looks set to run in to thousands of pounds.
The fire came after a former toilet block at nearby Yeadon Tarn was also set alight. Fire crews from Yeadon, Idle and Otley attended the two incidents and believe they are linked.
