Good on you Chris Packham. The Springwatch presenter has criticised eco-warriors who care about the rainforest while ‘persecuting’ wasps at home. Too many people freak out at the sight of a wasp, and fair enough, nobody wants to get stung. But do people have to swat and kill them when they could easily trap and release them out of the window.

Some people are allergic to wasps, which I understand can instil panic, but you can always move away. Wasps are important in our ecosystems too there is no need to exterminate them.
