Shipley MP Philip Davies has unveiled a plaque at Saltaire Medical Practice to mark its refurbishment.
He joined Bradford and Airedale Teaching Primary Care Trust's director of finance and procurement, Rhys North, to look round the new facilities and meet staff and patients.
New additions include a training room which doubles up as a GP common room, a dedicated area for administrative staff and a staff car park to free up space for patient parking.
The refurbishment complements developments at Saltaire Medical Practice's branch surgery in Cottingley. "This is a very exciting time for us," said Catherine Darlington, the practice's business manager.
