Bradford City Women are hoping for a change in the weather on Sunday after two successive washouts have put a dampener on their double- honours bid.
Despite some inconsistencies, the first team are still well in the race for the runners-up spot in the Northern Combination, lying six points behind Rochdale with two games in hand, but they face a difficult game this weekend when they have to make the long journey north to face in-form West Auckland.
There is also a tough game for City A, who currently head the Women's West Riding League Premier Division with a 100 per cent record from nine games but face second-placed Leeds City Vixens at Apperley Bridge.
Another victory for City against their closest rivals would put them 11 points clear and leave them red-hot favourites to take the title.
