A fire inside a derelict pub inhabited by squatters was put out by firefighters in Barkerend, Bradford, last night.
Fire crews discovered a section of floorboards alight close to makeshift beds and bits of food when they arrived at The Barkerend pub in Barkerend Road at about 6pm.
Two crews from Bradford fire station stopped the fire from spreading through the boarded-up property.
They spent two hours at the abandoned premises. A spokesman for Bradford fire station said the cause of the fire was under investigation.
