There are a few ghosts to put to rest at Chesterfield.

Losing there last season was certainly the lowest I have ever felt in football and I know it was the same for the supporters.

We've got a lot of new players now who won't know anything about that last game but I'm sure the majority of our fans going on Saturday will have been there in April.

It's important that we go out and give a good account of ourselves and send those supporters home with far happier memories than last time.

I know we didn't get relegated just because of that day but it probably summed up what had gone wrong from September onwards.

Three points at Chesterfield on Saturday won't be the be all and end all of our season but it would be nice to reward people who suffered so much last time.

It was a little bit disappointing to only draw at Mansfield but they were difficult conditions and really windy so not the best night for playing flowing football. And if we can go to Chesterfield and win, that would be four points from two away games which looks a very good return.

Unfortunately, we're just struggling to find the back of the net again at the minute but hopefully we can turn that round tomorrow.

Looking at Chesterfield's record at home, it might be a good chance for us to get a win. But it's strange how many away wins there have been lately. Watching the results in our division this week there were five or six and hopefully we can keep that trend going.

The game has come a bit too soon for me but at least I've been able to train with the lads again this week as well as doing plenty of running and working in the gym.

We've got a busy period coming up over Christmas with games coming thick and fast and I'm aiming to get myself fit in time for that.
