A DRIVER has been reported after being spotted by police driving full motorway speed with poor visibility due to fog.
West Yorkshire Police’s Roads Policing Unit saw the driver only four car lengths from them driving at the usual motorway speed in the poor conditions at nearly 11.20pm last night.
Officers, who tweeted a picture of the incident with a green arrow where the car ahead was positioned, said the vehicle was almost invisible with all its rear lights on.
The car ahead, it is there, is only 4 lengths away but is near invisible with all its rear lights on. The driver still thought is was suitable to maintain full motorway speed despite being able to see virtually nothing ahead. Driver reported for due care. #team3 #OpsSupport pic.twitter.com/kQqz49WrKZ
