A 34-year-old Liversedge man is to appear at Batley and Dewsbury Magistrates Court on Wednesday, December 12, charged with making an explosive substance under Section 4 of the Explosives Act.
Police say he was arrested on July 9 after officers searched a house on Firthcliffe Road, Six Lane Ends, and found a suspicious device.
A 30-year-old woman, also arrested, has not been charged.
