HOSPITALS across the Bradford district recorded four new Covid-19 deaths over the weekend, with the Trust in Bradford hitting a grim milestone.
These new deaths have taken the total in the district to 427, but at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the total number of fatalities has now reached 300.
Three of the deaths occurred at Bradford Teaching Hospitals with the fourth being recorded at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, which has now seen 125 fatalities.
Bradford District Care Trust has still seen just two deaths,
Nationally in England, the total death toll stands at 32,992, after 345 deaths were recorded over the weekend, 208 on Saturday and 137 on Sunday.
Patients who died were aged between 26 and 103-years-old, and all but 13 (aged 45-101) had known underlying health conditions.
Yorkshire and the North East say 71 of these deaths over the weekend.
