To mark the United Nations Climate Change conference in Bali this week, the European Commission is offering free software which you can download to your mobile phone to count your personal carbon consumption.
Tell it how long you watched the TV for or how long you were in the shower and it will track your daily carbon footprint and compare it with others and give you tips on how to reduce it.
The software can be downloaded via the website at http://mobgas.jrc.ec.europa.eu.
