FIRE crews from Cleckheaton Fire Station were called out to reports of a car engulfed in flames in Birstall late last night.
At around 10pm, one fire engine from Cleckheaton rushed to Ferndene Walk, where a car had been "dumped in the middle of a field" after being set on fire.
No-one was hurt in the incident, but a spokesperson from Cleckheaton Fire Station described it as a "deliberate ignition."
The spokesperson added that it was not the first car fire to be reported in Birstall of late - just two days ago, a similar incident was reported at a roundabout in the area.
