A Bradford man has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder following an alleged serious assault on a woman.
Ladislav Kovac, 19, of Daisy Hill, appeared before the Recorder of Leeds, Judge Peter Collier, QC, at Leeds Crown Court to deny the charge.
A trial date at Leeds was confirmed for January 7.
The allegation relates to an incident in Midland Road, near to Forster Square station, on July 6, when a woman in her mid 20s was allegedly assaulted. She was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary but later discharged herself after treatment.
