Police investigating the murder of a pensioner from Mirfield have charged two women with perverting the course of justice.
The body of Annie Garbutt, 76, was found at her home in The Clough on May 7.
Her grandaughter, Joanne Hussey, of Grange Mount, Yeadon, has been accused of her murder and is due to stand trial at Leeds Crown Court next week.
Police yesterday said two women, aged 33 and 55, had been charged with perverting the course of justice and were due to appear before Batley and Dewsbury magistrates today.
