A SCHOOL in Bierley has confirmed several more cases of coronavirus.
A spokesperson for the Newhall Park Primary School said: “We can confirm that several members of our school community have tested positive for Covid-19.
“The safety of our pupils and staff is our top priority. We are working closely with Public Health England and Bradford Council and following all the appropriate advice and guidance.
“All those who have been identified as a close contact with the confirmed cases have been contacted and told to self-isolate.
“The school remains open to all other children.”
The confirmed cases follow on from a previous case of Covid-19, which was reported at the school in late September.
Parents of children at the school were informed of the new cases on Sunday and were told “children in close contact with the individuals who tested positive have received a letter informing them their child must stay at home for 14 days.”
