THE Welcome Cafe has opened its doors for the first time since lockdown with the flavours of the world back on Bradford's doorstep.
Based at Millside Community Centre, the cafe's menu is curated by refugees who cook and bake savoury and sweet treats from their culture whilst training at Bradford College.
It has been created in partnership with Bradford Council, Skills House, Bradford College and Millside.

The cafe gives budding restaurant and cafe owners the chance to fulfil their dreams of one day setting up their own business and will allow them to work in any food restaurant in the UK.
Wahid Rashid, who started up the cafe in February, said: "The flavours and the taste of each menu they cook, it was like wow, this is something different.
"The students have been so empowered and they're overwhelmed by coming back.
"We launched in February and we had to shut. [Before the lockdown] We were getting people asking for outdoor catering, community organisations asking, 'Can you cater for us?'. We did a number of events at Millside Centre."
Under new Covid-19 measures, it will now only be operating on a takeaway and call and collect basis between 12pm-2pm every Wednesday and Thursday.
To order, people can call 01274 409661.
