BRADFORD is ranked as the sixth-highest city where its people moan about the weather, according to a survey.

Brits’ concerns for the weather can be further exemplified by an average of 48,000 online searches for the weather forecast each day.

As a result, HeatingForce.co.uk surveyed 6,446 Brits to discover which areas of the UK moan the most and least about the weather each week.

Bradfordians are sixth highest, with residents moaning about the weather to one another for an average of one hour and three minutes each week; an average of two days, two hours and 24 minutes each year and an average of four months 12 days spent moaning about the weather over a lifetime.

HeatingForce.co.uk found that Bristol is the UK city where people moan the most about weather, complaining at an astonishing average of 1 hour and 18 minutes each week.

This means people living in Bristol will spend five months and 13 days of their life obsessing over the weather. In second position is Burnley. People staying in the North West town take gripe with the weather for an average of 1 hour and 15 minutes every week. Over a lifetime, this equates to five months and seven days discussing the weather with others.

Other locations in the UK spending more than an hour a week complaining about the weather include Southampton (1 hour and 10 minutes), Birmingham (1 hour and 7 minutes) and Bradford (1 hour and 3 minutes).

On the other end in 10th spot is Oxford, where locals take issue with the weather for an average of 54 minutes a week. One minute less than Lincoln (55 minutes), which ranks ninth.

Meanwhile, Brighton is the UK city where residents spend the least time complaining about the weather, at an average of just nine minutes per week. Brits residing in the seaside town will spend just 19 days of their life fretting over the weather.
