Second-placed IMS Celtic earned some breathing space on rivals Bradford Arms and moved within a point of T&A League Premier Division top dogs Fairbank - although the leaders have one match in hand on the defending champions.

The home team took the lead after 12 minutes with a strike from Sean Jack and Steve Rouse doubled their lead on the half hour.

A goal before the break pegged them back but the champions kept playing some good attacking football and it was no surprise when Simon Marriott put them two clear again ten minutes after the restart.

Jamie Scott wrapped up the points with the goal of the match with a volley from 25 yards.

Bradford All Stars also kept up the pressure at the top, although Ventnor Youth pushed them hard.

Stuart Cundall put the youth team ahead and for 20 minutes they dominated the match.

The hosts equalised against the run of play through Waqaas Khan on 38 minutes only for the visitors to hit back again six minutes later through Komal Singh.

But All stars emerged a different side and were soon level through Mohammed Junniayd.

They moved in front for the first time on 70 minutes through Nasir Noor before a further goal from Aqar Yaqoob made sure.

There was nine goals in the match between Abundant Life and Lidget Green as both teams played good football in difficult conditions.

The first 20 minutes belonged to the home team, who cashed in with goals from Phil Orr and Gary Price.

But the visitors bounced back and two strikes from Waheed Iqbal pulled them level by the interval.

The hosts began the second half as they had the first and went back in front through Lee Stranny. But Javid Afsar levelled again.

The visitors then took command and further goals from Afsar, Iqbal to complete his hat-trick and Astab Ahmed took the match out of reach of the home side, who had the man of the match with a fine goalkeeping display from Dave Featherstone.

In a match that made a mockery of their league positions, All Nations and Sporting Athletic turned on a terrific display.

Isiah e kuti gave the hosts a half-time lead but the visitors came back strongly to equalise early in the second half. Eric Obieng restored the home lead and there were further goals from Haruna Obunewu and Babadid Awe before two late strikes from the visitors left the result in doubt until the final whistle.

West Bowling United beat Smiling Mule thanks to a brace from Gammar Saddique and a further goal by Shezard Ashfaf.
