Bradford Vision's chief executive is stepping down to make way for a new career in consultancy.
Elaine Appelbee, pictured, says it is time for her to go and pursue new challenges.
During her time with the district's Local Strategic Partnership she introduced a number of innovations, including the development of a neighbourhood renewal strategy and actively encouraged community participation in the planning of services.
She said: "I have had a fantastic time working closely with people and partnerships across the district, tackling difficult issues and ensuring that local people become more involved in the decisions that shape their lives."
Her departure coincides with the Local Strategic Partnership ceasing in its current form to be replaced by new arrangements at the end of March. Bradford Vision will continue for the time being and is currently working with Bradford Council on future plans for it.
