The arrival of the new month has brought a fresh call for motorists to do their bit to avert another "December of Death" on the district's roads.
A campaign to prevent another black December for injuries and deaths was launched last month and road safety chiefs are issuing a reminder to the public.
There were six deaths, 25 serious injuries and 204 other casualties last December on the Bradford district's roads.
Emergency services, Council road safety teams and other agencies have joined forces to spread the safety message to motorists and pedestrians.
Philip Gwynne, of the Bradford-based West Yorkshire Casualty Reduction Partnership, said: "We want to prevent a repeat of all those Christmases ruined, ripped apart and wrecked through carelessness, brief moments of distraction or acts of selfishness on the roads."
