PLANS to open a food delivery business in an industrial area on the edge of the city centre have been submitted to Bradford Council.
An empty industrial unit, part of Buck House on Hammerton Street - just off Leeds Road, would be converted to hot food take away under the plans, submitted by a Mr Khan.
Around 62 square metres of the building would be converted under the plans.
Despite being classed as a take away in planning terms, the application says the business will be food preparation and delivery, and customers would not be allowed inside the building.
‘Restaurant’ refused after planners' suspicions it would in fact be a take away
The application says: "Food will be prepared and made on site which will then be delivered locally to customers. Customers are not permitted on the premises to order."
The planned opening hours of the business will be Tuesday to Sunday from 4pm - 11pm.
A decision on the application is expected in November.
