SHIPLEY MP Philip Davies married former Cabinet Minister and TV presenter Esther McVey at a ceremony in Westminster on Saturday.
The two Tory MPs tied the knot in Parliament's historic St Mary Undercroft chapel.
However, due to Covid rules, the couple had to hold a scaled-back ceremony and uninvite dozens of guests and ditch plans for a Gospel choir.
Ms McVey, 52, wore a white percher hat with partial birdcage veil and a custom-made dress by Philip Armstrong, a fashion designer whose wedding dresses sell for around £7,000 and have been worn by celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Mel B.
Doncaster-born Mr Davies, 48, who has been MP for Shipley since 2005, wore a blue suit.
"Esther and I had a wonderful day on Saturday," said Mr Davies. "Our marriage took place in the chapel within Westminster Hall in Parliament and the reception took place afterwards in the Churchill Room in Parliament too.
"We were only allowed 20 people at the wedding ceremony - and that included us, the Bishop of Dover who officiated at the wedding, the organist and the photographer - so we just had some family members and close friends there.
"We are having what Esther calls a “Honeystaycation” - spending a few days in the Cotswolds and a few days in North Wales.
